A man was taken into custody on Saturday (May 31) after police responded to an incident at a home on Van Heusen Street in Colonie. The Colonie Police Department described the situation only as an "incident" and did not provide further details about what transpired. According to CBS 6 Albany, the police were seen taking the man away in handcuffs.
During the police response, at least one road in the area was temporarily closed, but the scene was cleared within an hour. WNYT NewsChannel 13 reported a heavy police presence in the area during the incident. Authorities have not yet disclosed what led to the man's arrest, and more information is expected to be released as the investigation continues.
