Grammy Award-winning musician Mark Tremonti will headline the musical entertainment at the Belmont Stakes this Saturday (June 7) in Saratoga Springs, New York. Tremonti, known for his work with Creed and Alter Bridge, will perform "New York, New York" moments before the horses reach the starting gate at 7:04 p.m. Eastern Time. The performance will be broadcast live on Fox Television Networks.

In addition to his Belmont Stakes appearance, Tremonti is set to embark on a series of solo headline dates in December, performing songs from his album 'Tremonti Sings Sinatra.' These performances will feature members of Frank Sinatra's original touring band. A portion of the proceeds from these concerts will benefit the National Down Syndrome Society and Tremonti's charity, Take A Chance for Charity, in honor of his daughter, Stella.

The Belmont Stakes is the third and final leg of the Triple Crown, and Tremonti's performance adds a musical highlight to the event. Gates at Saratoga Race Course, also known as "The Spa," will open at 9 a.m. on Saturday, with live coverage of the race running from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Fox.
