A tragic motorcycle accident on Wednesday (June 18) claimed the life of Matthew Tenace, a 48-year-old resident of Ballston Spa. The incident occurred on the southbound side of Interstate 87, also known as the Northway, in Queensbury. According to New York State Police, Tenace was the sole rider on his motorcycle when it veered off the road around 9:38 p.m. and suffered severe injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains unknown as the investigation is still ongoing. Authorities are working to determine what led to the motorcycle leaving the roadway. State Police continue to look into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
