The New York Racing Association (NYRA) has unveiled more details about the upcoming July Fourth Racing Festival at Saratoga Race Course. Scheduled from Thursday, July 3, through Sunday, July 6, the festival promises a blend of horse racing, family activities, historic tributes, and patriotic celebrations at "The Spa."

Daily admission is priced at seven dollars in advance or ten dollars at the gate. A four-day general admission pass is also available for twenty dollars through Ticketmaster. Post time for races is set for 1:10 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, with Saturday's first race starting at 12:35 p.m.

Saratoga Race Course, renowned for its vibrant summer meets, will host this special event as part of its expanded offerings for 2025. Traditionally held at Belmont Park, the July Fourth Racing Festival is now part of Saratoga's lineup due to ongoing construction at Belmont Park, which is expected to be completed in 2026.

The festival will precede the traditional 40-day summer meet, which begins on Thursday, July 10, and runs through Labor Day (September 1). According to NYRA President & CEO David O'Rourke, "There is nothing in sports that compares with the energy at Saratoga Race Course."

For those planning to attend, children 12 and under are admitted free with an adult, and various ticket options are available online via Ticketmaster and FEVO. Saratoga Race Course offers free general parking and premium parking options for visitors.

The July Fourth Racing Festival is set to be a highlight of the summer season, offering fans an opportunity to experience the excitement of live racing and the charm of Saratoga Springs.
