The New York Racing Association (NYRA) has announced an exciting lineup of special events for the 2025 season at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York. The season, which runs from Thursday (July 10) through September 1, will feature 40 days of live racing and a variety of attractions for fans of all ages.

Among the highlights are the Grade I, $1.25 million DraftKings Travers on Saturday (August 23) and the Grade I, $1 million Whitney on Saturday (August 2). The summer meet will also include six premium giveaways, such as a red concert-style tour tee and a floral Saratoga Hawaiian shirt, available with paid admission while supplies last.

NYRA will offer breakfast and breeding farm tours every Thursday through Sunday, excluding Travers Day and Sunday (August 10). These tours, presented by New York Thoroughbred Breeders, Inc., will take guests to local breeding farms and include a buffet breakfast and admission to the racecourse.

Family Sundays will provide free family-friendly activities, games, and educational opportunities inside the Family Zone. Additionally, the NYRA Star Program will offer children and their families insider access to thoroughbred racing through exclusive on-track events and educational opportunities.

Other attractions include live music at Purdy’s Summer Music Stage, the Taste NY Pavilion featuring New York-made food and beverages, and the Backstretch Tram Tours offering behind-the-scenes glimpses into the morning routines of horses, trainers, and jockeys.
