The United States Postal Service (USPS) is launching a series of job fairs starting today (July 11) at the Albany General Mail Facility on Karner Road in Albany, New York. The event runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., offering opportunities for City Carrier Assistant and Rural Carrier Associate positions. Wages for these roles start at $19.33 and $20.38 per hour, respectively.

The USPS is actively seeking motivated individuals to join their team as part of their "Delivering for America" initiative, which aims to modernize the postal network and improve service. Additional job fairs are scheduled throughout July, with events planned in Albany, Schenectady, and Schoharie Counties. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, available to work weekends and holidays, and able to pass a background check and drug screening. Applications are only accepted online at the USPS careers website.

According to USPS Newsroom, the postal service is an independent federal establishment that relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to fund its operations. The USPS is committed to serving every American community with reliable and secure mail delivery.
