Albany Police Search for Suspect in Sherman Street Shooting

Albany police are actively searching for a suspect involved in a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning (July 13) on Sherman Street near Lexington Avenue. Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 5:30 a.m. and discovered a 30-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her torso inside a vehicle. She was treated at the scene and then transported to Albany Medical Center, where she is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries, according to News10.

The Albany Police Department is urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
