The 2025 Frontier League All-Star Game is set to take place tonight at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in Troy. Hosted by the Tri-City ValleyCats, this event will feature top players from the 18 teams in the independent baseball league. The game will begin at 7:05 PM, with gates opening at 3:30 PM for a Fan Fest, which includes a pregame autograph session and a Home Run Derby starting at 5:30 PM.
The ValleyCats have been part of the Frontier League since 2021 and are excited to showcase the Capital Region. According to Frontier League Commissioner Steve Tahsler, "We are excited to bring the Frontier League's premier event to Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in 2025."
Tickets for the event, which include access to all festivities and postgame fireworks, are still available. Prices range from $13 to $18, depending on seating preference. The event promises a fun-filled day with activities like face painting, a rock-climbing wall, and live music. Fans can also enjoy local food and drink vendors in the Beer Garden.
While four ValleyCats were selected as All-Stars, only two will be participating due to health reasons. The game is expected to draw a large crowd, continuing the tradition of successful events at "The Joe."
