Clifton Park motorists will face another road closure this week as Riverview Road will be closed for construction on Tuesday (July 22) and Wednesday (July 23). The closure, which affects the stretch between Sugar Hill Road and Brian Drive, will occur from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The Town of Clifton Park Highway Department announced that the closure is necessary to replace two culverts on Riverview Road.

Clifton Park Highway Superintendent Dahn Bull has informed local schools and emergency response teams about the closure to minimize disruptions. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes during the construction period. The highway department, responsible for maintaining over 230 miles of town roads, is managing the project to ensure the safety and efficiency of the town's infrastructure.

According to the Town of Clifton Park, the road will reopen each day after the work is completed. For real-time updates on traffic conditions, tune to NewsRadio 103.1 / 810 WGY.
