The Saratoga County Fair begins today (July 22) in Ballston Spa, marking the start of fair season in the Capital Region. Running through Sunday (July 27), the fair promises a week of family-friendly entertainment, including rides, games, and live music.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of attractions, such as agricultural exhibits that celebrate Saratoga County's farming heritage. These include livestock competitions, equestrian showcases, and interactive 4-H displays. The fairgrounds will also host grandstand events like demolition derbies and tractor pulls, alongside performances by both local and national bands.

For food enthusiasts, the fair offers a range of culinary delights, from traditional fair foods like funnel cakes to gourmet options from local food trucks. Artisans and local vendors will also be present, offering handcrafted goods and unique artwork.

A special "ThinkDIFFERENTLY Day" is scheduled for Thursday (July 24), providing a sensory-sensitive environment for individuals with special needs and their families. This includes reduced noise and no flashing lights, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.

Admission is free for children 12 and under, while tickets for those 13 and older are $16.43 when purchased online. For more information, including daily schedules and ticket details, visit the official Saratoga County Fair website.
