The Capital Concert Series at the Empire State Plaza in Albany continues tonight (July 23) with a performance by Southern California punk band Lit, joined by rock band Plush. The free concert will start at 5:30 p.m. and is scheduled to run until 8:30 p.m.
Lit, known for their post-grunge hits like "My Own Worst Enemy," "Miserable," and "Zip-Lock," is currently working on new material. The band has supported major acts such as Disturbed and Kiss and performed at large festivals like Welcome to Rockville.
The Capital Concert Series is part of the 2025 Summer at the Plaza series, presented by Miller Lite and other sponsors, including Broadview Federal Credit Union and Metroland Now. According to the New York State Office of General Services, the series offers a chance for the community to enjoy live music and socialize at the Plaza.
