Albany Police Investigate Stabbing on Central Avenue

Albany police are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred just before midnight on Thursday (August 14). Officers responded to Central Avenue near Henry Johnson Boulevard around 11:50 p.m. and found a 34-year-old man with stab wounds to his arms. The victim was treated on the scene and then transported to Albany Medical Center, where he is in stable condition, according to CBS6 Albany.

The stabbing reportedly took place near 45 Central Avenue, although the victim was located on the 300 block of Washington Avenue near Lexington Avenue. As of Friday morning, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.

The police have not yet released any information about potential suspects or motives. The incident adds to a series of violent events in the area, prompting concerns about safety among local residents.
