Albany Police Investigate North Pearl Street Shooting

Albany police are investigating a shooting that occurred on North Pearl Street late Wednesday night (September 3). Officers responded to a call at approximately 9:15 p.m. and found a 65-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his upper back. The incident took place near North First Street and the Interstate 90 overpass.

The victim was transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition. As of now, no arrests have been made, and police are actively searching for the suspect involved in the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward. The police department continues to work diligently to ensure the safety of the community and bring the responsible party to justice.
