The New York State Department of Transportation (NYS DOT) has issued a travel advisory for Saratoga County, starting today. State Route 32 in the Village of Schuylerville will be closed to through traffic between Wilbur Road and Dodd Road for approximately eight weeks due to a culvert repair project.
According to News10, local residents and emergency responders will still have access to the area, but motorists should expect delays and plan for extra travel time. A detour will be in place, directing traffic to use State Route 4.
The NYS DOT advises travelers to stay informed about the project and any potential changes to the schedule. The closure is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve infrastructure in the region.
Motorists are encouraged to follow the signed detour and check traffic updates regularly to minimize disruptions. The project aims to ensure the safety and efficiency of the roadway for future use.
