Corinth Man Admits Guilt in 2024 Sexual Assault Case

David Bodenstab, a 65-year-old man from Corinth has pleaded guilty to charges related to a sexual assault case from 2024. The Saratoga County District Attorney's Office announced that Bodenstab admitted to first-degree criminal sexual act and second-degree assault. He was initially arrested on August 20, 2024, after being accused of engaging in forcible sexual contact with a victim in Greenfield on August 15.

Bodenstab faced charges of first-degree criminal sexual act and first-degree sexual abuse. The guilty plea to the criminal sexual act charge carries a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison, while the assault charge has a minimum sentence of two years.

According to NEWS10, Bodenstab's sentencing is scheduled for 9 a.m. on an undisclosed date. The case highlights the legal consequences of such offenses and the ongoing efforts to address sexual violence in the community.
