The New York State Department of Transportation (DOT) has issued a travel advisory for a section of Interstate 787 in Albany, New York. On Thursday (September 25), the ramp from Exit 3 on I-787 northbound to the Dunn Memorial Bridge will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The closure is necessary for a routine bridge inspection, according to the DOT.
Drivers are advised to follow the signed detour via the South Mall Expressway and should expect travel delays. The DOT recommends allowing extra travel time as construction activities are weather dependent and may change based on conditions.
