The Canadian Pacific Kansas City Holiday Train is set to make its return to the Capital Region, bringing festive cheer and support for local food banks. This annual event sees the train travel through Canada and the United States, offering entertainment and collecting donations for those in need.
The train will make stops at Ganser Smith Memorial Park in Menands and on Park Avenue in Mechanicville on November 25. It will also visit the Amtrak train station in Fort Edward on November 26. At each location, visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items, which will be collected and distributed to area food banks.
The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train has become a beloved tradition, combining the joy of the holiday season with a mission to support communities. By gathering food donations, the train helps to address food insecurity and provide assistance to those who need it most.
