The Cohoes Department of Public Works (DPW) is undertaking a significant project today (Thursday, October 23) to replace water valves along Columbia Street in Cohoes. The work will occur between Bevan Street and Broadway, potentially affecting water pressure for residents in the area. According to NEWS10 ABC, residents may experience little to no water pressure during the valve replacement process.

Additionally, there is a possibility of temporary water discoloration once the service is restored. The city advises residents to be prepared for these temporary inconveniences as the work progresses.

The valve replacement is part of ongoing efforts by the Cohoes DPW to maintain and improve the city's water infrastructure, ensuring reliable service for its residents.
