Albany County is experiencing a robust turnout as early voting kicks off ahead of the general election. Since the polls opened on Saturday (October 25), over 3,000 residents have already cast their ballots, according to the County Board of Elections. Voters have been visiting various polling locations, including the East Berne Volunteer Fire Company, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pine Grove Methodist Church, and Saint Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church.

Early voting in Albany County will continue until November 2, with Election Day scheduled for November 4. The County Board of Elections reminds residents that polls are open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM on election days. Voters can find more information about polling locations and times on the Albany County Board of Elections website.

The high turnout reflects the community's engagement and interest in the upcoming election. Voters are encouraged to take advantage of early voting to avoid potential lines on Election Day. For those unable to vote in person, absentee ballots are available, and voters can track their status through the NYS Voter Lookup System.
