Arbor Hill Elementary School in Albany is closed on Wednesday (November 12) following a water main break that disrupted water service to many of the building's bathrooms. According to CBS6 Albany, crews initially repaired a break on Tuesday afternoon, but a second break occurred later that night, prompting the closure.
School officials anticipate that repairs will be completed by the end of the day, allowing the school to reopen on its regular schedule on Thursday. The water main break has caused significant inconvenience, but the swift response by repair crews aims to minimize disruption to the school community.
NEWS10 ABC also reported that the school is working closely with local authorities to ensure a safe and timely resolution. Parents and students are advised to stay informed through official school communications for any updates regarding the situation.
