The Animal Protective Foundation (APF) in Glenville is offering discounted adoption fees for those looking to bring a new pet home for the holidays. Through the end of November, adoption fees are reduced to $50 for cats and $100 for dogs. The shelter, currently at capacity, hopes to find loving homes for its animals.

The APF has been a cornerstone of animal welfare since 1931, providing shelter, medical care, and adoption services to approximately 5,000 animals each year. The organization emphasizes the joy and companionship that pets bring to their new families.

The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. Those interested in adopting can visit the APF's website to view available pets and learn more about the adoption process.
