The Troy Police Department has released the names of the officers involved in a shooting incident that occurred late Saturday night (November 29) in Troy. Officers Nicholas Peter, a 17-year veteran, and Tanner King, who has served with the department for four years, were identified as the officers who engaged with Michael Rodriguez, 41, during the incident.
The confrontation began when a woman reported to police that her ex-boyfriend, Rodriguez, was chasing her at her home on Ferry Street and had threatened her with a gun.
