Authorities in Catskill are investigating a tragic murder-suicide that left three men dead on Friday (December 12). According to New York State Police, 22-year-old Connor Provo called Greene County 911 at approximately 12:18 p.m., reporting that he had killed his friends. When officers arrived at the scene on Forest View Drive, they found Provo dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound inside a trailer on the property.
Further investigation led officers to a double-wide building on the same property, where they discovered the bodies of two other men, both victims of apparent gunshot wounds. The victims have been identified as 34-year-old Clifford Beauchard and 19-year-old Justin Acevedo, both residents of Catskill.
State Police, assisted by the Greene County Sheriff's Office, are treating the incident as a murder-suicide, with evidence suggesting that Provo shot Beauchard and Acevedo before turning the gun on himself. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the New York State Police Catskill Barracks at 845-344-5300.
