A winning ticket for the New York State Lottery's Take Five game was purchased in Albany, offering a lucky winner more than $27,000. The ticket, sold for the Sunday (December 21) evening drawing, was bought at Edleez Tobacco Incorporated on Western Avenue. The winning numbers for the evening draw were 4, 20, 28, 29, and 31.

Take Five draws occur twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with numbers drawn from a pool of one to 39. Winners have up to one year to claim their prize. The jackpot is determined by the number of winners, with the prize split if there are multiple winners.

According to NEWS10 ABC, the ticket was worth exactly $27,380. The New York Lottery, which contributed $3.6 billion to state education in the 2024-2025 fiscal year, encourages winners to check results on their official website.
