As the holiday season comes to a close, local farms near Albany are offering unique ways for residents to dispose of their Christmas trees. Indian Ladder Farms in Altamont will host a New Year's Eve tree burning event on Wednesday (December 31) from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Participants who bring their trees will receive a free drink token, limited to two per person, as reported by NEWS10 ABC.
Meanwhile, June Farms in West Sand Lake will hold its annual Oh Tannenbaum Fire on Saturday (January 3). The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a $10 admission fee per person. Attendees can enjoy the cozy atmosphere, warm up by the bonfire, and purchase food and drinks from The Pony Bar and a food truck according to June Farms.
These events provide a festive way to say goodbye to the holidays, offering community members a chance to gather, enjoy refreshments, and watch their trees go up in flames. Indian Ladder Farms also offers a range of holiday activities, including a children's New Year's Eve celebration with bingo, music, and dancing as detailed by Indian Ladder Farms.
