Albany Police Arrest Four in Convenience Store Burglary

Albany police have arrested four individuals in connection with a burglary at the Mister Convenient store on Ontario Street. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning (January 6), when the suspects allegedly entered the store through a window around 8:40 a.m. Two suspects, Taimeka McKiever, 38, of Albany, and Ashley Fitzgerald, 38, of Schenectady, were apprehended at the scene with stolen items, according to CBS6 Albany.

The other two suspects, Adam Dittmar, 39, of Leeds and Joseph Nadal, 45, of Albany, were arrested nearby after leaving a residence at Ontario and First Street. A search of the home led to the discovery of additional stolen items and a loaded 9mm handgun. All four suspects face charges of burglary and grand larceny. Nadal also faces a charge of criminal possession of a weapon.

McKiever was arraigned and released under the supervision of Albany County Probation Services, while the other three suspects were sent to Albany County Jail. The investigation continues as authorities work to determine the full extent of the suspects' activities and any potential connections to other crimes in the area.
