Guilderland Supervisor Peter Barber will deliver his annual State of the Town address today, Tuesday (February 10), at 11 a.m. at Guilderland Town Hall on Western Avenue.
The address is expected to cover several key topics of interest to town residents. Supervisor Barber will provide updates on the town's comprehensive plan, which serves as a roadmap for Guilderland's future development and growth. He will also discuss recent and upcoming park improvements throughout the community.
Pedestrian safety initiatives will be another focus of the address, as the town continues efforts to make Guilderland more walkable and safe for residents of all ages.
Of particular significance, Barber is expected to address how Guilderland is responding to federal government policies that may impact social services in the community. The supervisor will also discuss the town's approach to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activities.
All Guilderland residents are invited to attend the address at Town Hall. This public event provides an opportunity for community members to hear directly from their local government about priorities and challenges facing the town in 2026.
