Schenectady County Restaurant Week is underway, giving food lovers across the Electric City a full week to enjoy special multi-course meals at participating local restaurants — all at fixed, wallet-friendly prices.

According to News10 ABC, more than 25 restaurants are taking part in this year's event, which runs through Sunday (March 1). Diners can choose from $20 lunch menus or prix-fixe dinner menus priced at $30 or $40, depending on the restaurant.

The menus are designed to showcase each restaurant's best dishes, featuring multi-course options that include appetizers, entrees, and desserts. It's a great chance to try somewhere new or revisit a longtime favorite while supporting local businesses.

Discover Schenectady notes that reservations are strongly recommended, as the event tends to draw big crowds throughout the week. The annual celebration is proudly presented by the Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation (DSIC), the Chamber of Schenectady County, and Discover Schenectady.

Diners who visit participating restaurants can also scan a QR code to fill out an online survey after their meal. Eight winners will each receive four $50 gift cards from participating restaurants — so there's even more reason to get out and eat.

A full list of participating restaurants and their menus is available at downtownschenectady.org.
