The Fire and Ice Festival is taking place tonight at Crandall Pond in Glens Falls, offering a night of outdoor winter fun for residents and visitors. Running from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the event features ice skating, hot chocolate, and live music. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own skates and mugs for hot cocoa to support sustainability efforts.

The festival, organized by the city's Department of Public Works and Recreation Department, promises a family-friendly atmosphere with lighted ice for skating, fire pits, and a warming hut. According to the organizers, the ice is in excellent condition, thanks to efforts by the Water Department to flood the pond and fill any cracks.

Parking is available at various locations around Crandall Park. For more details about the event, visit the official city website.
