The United States Postal Service (USPS) is seeking to fill various positions by hosting multiple job fairs in the Capital Region. These events offer opportunities for individuals interested in becoming city carriers, rural carrier associates, city carrier assistants, mail handler assistants, and automotive technicians.

The first job fair will take place on Thursday (March 5) at Schenectady College Career Outreach on State Street, with additional events scheduled throughout March. Positions offer competitive pay ranging from $19.02 to $26.28 per hour for carrier roles and $63,658 annually for automotive technicians.

USPS encourages applicants to attend these fairs to learn more about the roles, although no interviews will be conducted on-site. Applications must be submitted online at usps.com/careers. Applicants need to be at least 18 years old, or 16 with a high school diploma, and must pass a drug screening and background check.

The USPS, known for its reliable service, is celebrating its 250th anniversary and continues to modernize its operations. For more information on the job fairs, visit the USPS newsroom.
