Price Chopper and Market 32 have launched a new campaign to support local United Way chapters. Running through March 31, the campaign invites customers to round up their purchase totals to the nearest dollar at checkout. The proceeds will aid United Way and its nonprofit partners in addressing critical community needs such as food insecurity, housing instability, and childcare.

According to NEWS10 ABC, Market 32 and Price Chopper will match funds raised up to $10,000. Pam Cerrone, Director of Community Relations for Market 32 and Price Chopper, emphasized the importance of these contributions. "Every donation—often just a few cents—adds up quickly to help fund essential services," she said. "And because funds raised stay local, customers can feel confident their contributions are directly helping neighbors in the same communities where they live, work, and shop."

The campaign is part of the supermarket chain's broader efforts to support communities. A previous initiative saw customers donate over 85,000 bags of food to local food banks, providing essential nutrition to those in need. This ongoing commitment to community support underscores Price Chopper and Market 32's dedication to nourishing life in the areas they serve.
