Albany police are still investigating a shooting that left a 15-year-old boy injured on the 500 block of Morris Street on Wednesday night (March 18). Officers responded around 8:55 p.m. and found the teen with a gunshot wound to his face. He was treated at the scene before being rushed to Albany Medical Center Hospital, where officials said his injuries are considered non-life-threatening, and he is expected to recover.
According to CBS6 Albany, police have not yet made any arrests and continue to search for information about the shooting. Authorities urge anyone who might have details to come forward and assist in the investigation.
The Albany Police Department has not released further information about possible suspects or motives. This latest incident comes after other recent shootings involving teenagers in the city.
