Barn Fire Destroys Gansevoort Structure, No Injuries Reported

A barn in Gansevoort, New York, was destroyed by fire on Monday (March 30), according to the Gansevoort Volunteer Fire Department. Crews responded to Blue Heron Terrace, where the barn was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived.

Firefighters worked to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures. The barn was deemed a complete loss, but no injuries were reported. As reported by the Gansevoort Volunteer Fire Department, quick action by the crews helped keep the fire from causing further damage in the area.

Officials have not yet determined the cause of the fire. No animals or people were harmed during the incident. Investigation into the cause is ongoing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
