Four people were arrested Monday (March 30) following an investigation into an assault that occurred at MVP Arena during the Clover Fest concert in Albany on Friday (March 21). According to the Albany County Sheriff’s Office, the incident involved two concertgoers who were seated when four individuals repeatedly struck them with their hands and feet over an extended period.

The two victims suffered injuries including pain, redness, and bruising throughout their bodies. They sought medical treatment at Albany Memorial Hospital the following day and reported the assault to the sheriff’s office.

The suspects, identified as Muslima Washington, Jeanvive Washington, Nahvir T. Wright, and a 17-year-old, were each charged with two counts of third-degree assault and one count of second-degree riot, all misdemeanors. All four were arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court and released on their own recognizance. The 17-year-old was issued an appearance ticket and will report to Albany County Probation at a later date, as reported by the Times Union.

Authorities also granted stay-away orders of protection for the victims.

The sheriff’s office concluded its investigation on Monday (March 30). The incident was not isolated—another concertgoer was previously charged with assaulting a deputy during the same event, according to CBS 6 Albany.

The individuals involved are expected to face further court dates as the legal process continues. No additional arrests have been announced in connection with the March 21 incident.
