Residents of Clifton Park, New York, should prepare for a temporary road closure starting today (Tuesday, April 7). Waite Road, between the railroad tracks and the intersection with State Route 146, will be closed to traffic today and tomorrow. The closure is necessary for the replacement of a large culvert pipe, with work scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
According to The Daily Post, detours will be clearly posted, and motorists should expect delays during the closure. The Clifton Park Highway Department is overseeing the project, and crews will be working diligently to complete the work within the scheduled timeframe.
Drivers are encouraged to plan alternative routes and allow for extra travel time. For more information or questions, residents can contact the highway superintendent’s office at (518) 371-7310.
