The New York Racing Association (NYRA) is hosting a second job fair for the upcoming Belmont Stakes Racing Festival. Scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., the event will take place on the ground floor of the 1863 Club at Saratoga Race Course. The festival, featuring the prestigious 158th running of the Grade 1, $2 million Belmont Stakes, will occur from June 3 to June 7 at "The Spa."
The job fair aims to fill various positions, including mutuel clerks, security, cashiers, parking attendants, and maintenance staff. Applicants must be at least 15 years old and possess New York State Certified Working Papers. Certain roles, such as security guards and cashiers, require applicants to be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. All attendees must present a photo ID and Social Security card or an I-9 alternative.
Prospective employees will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from NYRA, Dyehard Fan Supply, Integrated Staffing, and Levy Restaurants, among others. The event is accessible through the Wright Street entrance (Gate 8), with parking available in the 1863 Club lot.
Tickets for the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival will go on sale to the public on Thursday, February 12, at 10 a.m. at BelmontStakes.com. The Belmont Stakes will return to its permanent home at Belmont Park in 2027 after three years of temporary adjustments.
