A 45-year-old man, Clye Clark, has been arrested following drug investigations in Greenport and Troy. According to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, Clark is accused of possessing over 500 grams of cocaine between two apartments in Columbia and Rensselaer Counties.

On February 6, deputies from the drug enforcement unit executed search warrants at an apartment on Pulcher Avenue in Greenport and a 2024 Jeep Wrangler. That same day, with assistance from Troy Police Officers, a search warrant was executed at an apartment on River Street in Troy. The searches revealed 33 grams of crack cocaine in Greenport and 485 grams of cocaine in Troy.

Clark was arrested on Wednesday in Columbia County and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was initially released on his own recognizance but was later taken into custody due to an arrest warrant issued in Rensselaer County. He faces charges of first-degree and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Following his arraignment in Rensselaer County, Clark was remanded to jail with bail set at $60,000 cash or $200,000 partially secured bond. The Columbia County District Attorney’s Office and the Rensselaer County District Attorney’s Office assisted in the investigation.
