Fans of legendary singer Barry Manilow will have to wait a bit longer to see him perform in Albany. Manilow's concert, originally scheduled for Thursday (April 20) at the MVP Arena, has been postponed due to health concerns. The 82-year-old artist's doctors have advised against touring at this time.

The concert is part of Manilow's "Last Concert" tour, which has seen several shows postponed, including those in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maine, and North Carolina. According to the Times Union, Manilow announced in December that he was diagnosed with stage 1 lung cancer, leading to rescheduled January tour dates for post-surgery recovery.

While the new date for the Albany show has not been announced, all previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled concert. The MVP Arena website assures fans that updates will be provided as soon as new dates are confirmed. For now, the next scheduled concert on Manilow's tour is set for July 30 in South Carolina.

Manilow's team expressed appreciation for fans' understanding and patience during this time. The MVP Arena's official page also notes that they look forward to welcoming fans to the rescheduled concert in Albany soon.
