Authorities in Kingsbury have revealed more details about the murder of Jessica Keenan, allegedly killed by her boyfriend, Ronald Guilder Jr., during a domestic incident. Keenan's body was discovered on Sunday (April 12), and Guilder, 45, was arraigned on a second-degree murder charge on Monday (April 13).

According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred at Keenan's apartment on Queens Drive. Guilder, who lives on the same street, has pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail in the Washington County Jail. An autopsy is pending to determine the cause of Keenan's death.

Neighbors described the area as quiet and safe. Logan Ehntholt, a neighbor, expressed shock over the incident, stating, "I can't believe somebody would just do this to her." He noted that he often saw Keenan walking her dog and had not previously seen Guilder.

The New York State Police are assisting in the investigation. Guilder is due back in Kingsbury Town Court on Wednesday (April 15) at 9 a.m. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

The case remains under investigation as the community seeks justice for Keenan. Neighbor Kristen Wentworth commented on the incident, saying it was "very shocking and surprising and saddening" for the otherwise safe neighborhood.
