The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society in Menands is urgently seeking donations to replenish its Furry Friends Pet Food Pantry. The pantry provides essential pet food to owners facing financial difficulties. The shelter has announced that it is completely out of cat food and expects to run out of dog food soon.

According to a report by NEWS10, the shelter is asking for unopened bags of dry dog and cat food. Donations can be dropped off at the shelter, located at 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, or shipped directly using the shelter's Amazon or Chewy wishlists.

The shelter is open for donations from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Those unable to visit the shelter can drop off donations in the blue bins outside the main entrance.

The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society emphasizes that keeping pets with their families is a priority, and no pet should go hungry. Donations will help support thousands of animals each year. For more information, visit the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society's website.
