A new date has been set for Barry Manilow’s farewell tour stop in Albany after the legendary singer was forced to postpone his performance due to health concerns. The concert, which was originally scheduled for Monday (April 20) at MVP Arena, will now take place on Monday, June 29, according to MVP Arena officials and tour representatives.

Manilow’s team explained that doctors ordered the 82-year-old Grammy winner to rest, prompting the rescheduling of several tour dates across New York state. According to the MVP Arena announcement, all tickets purchased for the original date will be honored for the new show this summer. Additional seats remain available for purchase at the arena box office and through Ticketmaster, though prices and fees may vary.

As reported by Syracuse.com, Manilow has rescheduled three New York state concerts as part of his farewell tour: June 27 at UBS Arena in Belmont Park, June 29 in Albany, and June 30 at KeyBank Center in Buffalo. The shows were postponed after Manilow underwent surgery for lung cancer in December. He has since announced he will not require chemotherapy or radiation and is expected to resume performing in May as part of his Las Vegas residency.

Manilow, known for hits like ‘Copacabana’ and ‘Mandy,’ has sold over 85 million records and written some of the most memorable commercial jingles in American pop culture. For a complete list of upcoming tour dates and ticket information, visit Barry Manilow’s official site or Ticketmaster.
