Authorities in Schenectady are investigating a suspicious incident involving a student near Central Park Middle School. On Wednesday morning (April 22), a student reported that a man in a passing vehicle yelled "come here" while the student was walking in the area of Nora Avenue and Robinson Street. The student continued to school safely and reported the incident to a School Resource Officer.

The Schenectady Police Department is actively investigating the incident. They have not yet provided a description of the vehicle or any further information. The district has issued a safety alert, emphasizing the importance of discussing "Stranger Danger" and situational awareness with children.
