An enlightening new survey exploring Americans' thoughts on aliens found that more than half of the participants expressed the belief that extraterrestrials exist. The rather exhaustive poll from YouGov enlisted the opinions of 1,114 U.S. adults over the course of five days earlier this month. Asked if they thought aliens exist, a whopping 56% answered "definitely or probably." Additionally, 30% indicated that they believe UFOs are extraterrestrial in nature. Meanwhile, 47% of the respondents expressed the belief that aliens have visited the Earth, with another 42% saying that such extraordinary events had likely occurred "in recent years."
