The Salvation Army Mascot, WSYR Radio Host Dave Allen, SU Women's Basketball Coach Felisha Legette-Jack Kicking Off 2025 Red Kettle Campaign
The Salvation Army Syracuse Area Services 2025 Red Kettle Campaign Chair Dave Allen was joined by Syracuse University Women's Basketball Coach Felisha Legette-Jack and Syracuse University Football players on Friday to officially kick off the campaign. Volunteers can sign up to ring the bells at registertoring.com.
This year, The Salvation Army of Syracuse is inviting all youth ages 18 and under to make a difference this holiday season — and have some fun doing it! We are launching a Red Kettle Ringer Challenge, a friendly volunteer competition where young bell ringers can win one of two brand-new Nintendo Switch 2 consoles (thanks to some very generous donors). Read all the details and rules about the contest HERE.
From the beginning of November through Christmas Eve, you will find 19 red kettles across Onondaga County. The money raised through the red kettle donations goes directly to programs in Syracuse. Do you want to help ring the bell? You can view all locations and available shifts at registertoring.com.
Whether you ring by yourself, with your family, with a school group or company, it's a great way to spread holiday cheer while Doing the Most Good for your community.
