So what's with the big poles?
Seven 60-80 foot tall poles have gone up in Troy over the past week or so, even dwarfing 5-story buildings.
The mayor's office says it's all about improved cell phone technology, but apparently no one knew the gigantic poles were part of it.
Deputy mayor Monica Kurzejeski says the former mayor's office approved the plans.
More than 20 more poles are slated to go in courtesy of telecommunication infrastructure company Mobility.
The city plans a meeting with the company to talk about it.
