Johnstown Man Identified After Body Dumped In Arkansas

The man from Johnstown whose body was stuffed into a suitcase, driven to Arkansas and thrown into a farm field has been identified as Robert Brooks.

The 89-year old was a World War II Veteran. Police say Brooks died of natural causes in his Johnstown home before his body was located in Little Rock.

Virginia Colvin and Michael Stivers, both of Johnstown, have been arrested and charged with abuse of a corpse.

Investigators believe identity theft and Brooks' social security checks may have been motive in trying to conceal his body.
