The golf courses in Schenectady, Troy, and Clifton Park are among the courses that have already opened for the season, and Albany's Capital Hills is scheduled to open Saturday.
Superintendent Scott Gallup says the course is "in great shape" after our Winter.
He says things are still a bit wet after the big snowstorm in March and heavy rains earlier this month, but says it should dry out soon.
New this year, veterans will get a special discounted rate - $25 for 18 holes or $15 for nine.
