Gillibrand Passes on 2020 White House Run

Thanks but no thanks.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand says she has no plans to run for president in 2020 because she's "focused entirely" on running for re-election next year.

Gillibrand told Spectrum News during an event at Fort Drum that she's dedicated to serving the state as a senator, and is running for re-election in 2018.

Gillibrand, who replaced Hillary Clinton in the Senate in 2009, easily won re-election in 2012 by defeating Republican Wendy Long.
