Albany police have identified the victim as 27-year-old Zachary Thibodeaux. The crash still remains under investigation

A 27-year-old man is dead after crashing a small dump truck into a tree near the area of Broadway and Lawn Avenue in Albany just after 11:30am Monday.
The name of the man has not been released yet, he died at Albany Med.
The crash remains under investigation.
