Ben Stiller is said to be behind an eight-part TV miniseries about the 2015 Dannemora Prison Escape.
Stiller is nearing a deal with Showtime to produce and direct "Escape From Clinton Correctional". Benicio del Toro will play escapee Richard Matt and Patricia Arquette will play prison employee Joyce Mitchell. No word on who will play other escaped inmate David Sweat.
News of this comes after April's airing of a Lifetime made-for-TV-movie about the prison break.
